Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for end-users of HPC services, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Some examples:
- Create user accounts
- Manage user access to systems and data
- Update compute quotas
- Update and maintain user guidelines and documentation.
- Take detailed notes during team meetings and publish using Markdown.
- Assist in the onboarding of new users.
- Prepare training materials.
- Collaborate with other support agents and departments to resolve complex issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant work experience in a similar field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of computers, software, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to efficiently identify and resolve common customer issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated empathy and patience in handling customer concerns.
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a high volume of inquiries.
- Team-oriented with a proven track record of collaborative problem-solving.
- Minimum B2 level verbal and written English and Estonian.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with high-performance computing environments.
- Familiarity with support ticketing systems.
- Basic understanding of networking, software, and hardware issues related to HPC.
