ETAIS areas of activity
ETAIS aims to enable scientific and commercial simulations when data volumes exceed the limits of existing hardware or skills. Our solutions bring your idea to life. We help in situations where there is too much data, supercomputer power is needed, or a scalable application needs to be created from a prototype.
ETAIS offers all those involved in research and development the necessary computing resources – servers, storage space, training and user support.
ETAIS lends a helping hand when you want to get results quickly or when there is so much data that it cannot fit on your computer.

Artificial intelligence solutions
Training models on both the local cluster and the LUMI supercomputer.

High-performance computing
Cloud-based supercomputing, which is necessary for the rapid processing of large and complex data.

E-infrastructure
State-of-the-art e-infrastructure offers flexible services, eliminating the need for you to invest in large internal infrastructures.

Data services
Secure storage, backup and handling of data on the SAPU platform created by the University of Tartu High Performance Computing Center.

Resource management platform Waldur
We use the state cloud service management platform Waldur, which includes convenient tools for managing various resources.

Cybersecurity analysis and consultations
Willingness to protect data and systems against potential cyber threats.
Who are we?
The Estonian Scientific Computing Infrastructure (ETAIS) is a pan-Estonian unified e-infrastructure that offers users cloud services, classical scientific computing (HPC – high-performance computing), hosting and management services for scientific web applications, and resources for repositories. In addition, ETAIS provides access to Europe’s fastest supercomputer, LUMI, located in Finland.
