UT Prices

CPU€0.012/core h
Memory€0.012/6 GB/h
GPUfrom €0.5/GPU h

Memory usage is calculated by 6 GB segments.
Price depends on the use of which resource is greater. Accounting of the use the computing servers is based on the amount of memory (with 1 unit being equal to 6 GB of RAM/h) and processors (with 1 unit being equal to 1 core/h) allocated to the user’s job(s).

When determining the order of starting compute jobs, jobs with higher priority are given preference.

A100€0.5/GPU h
L40S€0.5/GPU h
RTX6000*€1.0/GPU h
B200*€2.0/GPU/h
H200€2.0/GPU h

* RTX6000 and B200 are only available for the public sector (including universities).

Storage€80/TB/year
A copy stored on tape€30/TB/year

High-speed GPFS file system attached directly to the HPC cluster. It is also exportable to other systems via NFS or Samba file sharing.

Storage€160/TB/year

NB! The data retrieval and data transfer are not charged!

CPU€0.008/core h
GPU€0.35/GPU h
Project storage (persistent and scratch)€0.0106/TB/h
Storage (Flash based scratch storage)10 x €0.0106/TB/h

CPU€0.003/core h
Memory€0.0013/GB/h
GPUfrom €0.5/GPU h
Storage SSD€0.138/TB/h

Billing is the sum of resources booked for the virtual private cloud (VPC), which can contain 1 or more virtual machines (VM). For example, in case of a VPC of m.xsmall flavor with 1 processor core, 1GB of ram and 10GB of SSD storage space allocated for it, will cost 1*0.003*24*365 = 26 euros per year for the CPU and 1*0.0013*24*365 = 11 euros per year for RAM and 1/10*0.138*24*365 = 120 euros per year for the storage space.

One time set-up fee€500
CPU€0.003/core h
Memory€0.0013/GB/h
Storage SSD€0.138/TB/h
Logs€0.15/GB/month

Logs cover logs storage and access (Elastic)

CPU€0.015/core h
Memory€0.003/GB/h
GPUfrom €0.5/GPU h
Storage SSD€0.138/TB/h

Accounting is by used or by requested resources, whichever is greater. Accounting resolution is usage per minute.

Includes monitoring and installation of security updates.

Rate€60/h

Will be applied in case the desired software requires unusually long and complicated installation process.

Small (<100 users)€99/month
Medium (<500 users)€199/month
Large (>500 users)€349/month

Hosting includes backups, availability monitoring, upgrades and integration with UT HPC helpdesk. Billing is once a year at the beginning of the billing period (the minimum contract period is one year). If, during the billing period, the number of users increases, the next bill will include the additional fee from the past period (the difference between pricing tiers). There is no refund for unused seats.

Price for one domain€30/year

Includes up to 200 GB storage space, technical support and monitoring

Prices are established in accordance with University of Tartu Regulation No. 3-1/AT/108 and are valid from July 1st, 2026. The financial source of income for billing without VAT is ELTATHPC. The financial source of income for billing with VAT is WLTATHPC. The head of the HPC Centre, Ivar Koppel, is responsible for billing. Outside the University of Tartu, 24% VAT is added to the prices.
